Beginners

KTI’s beginners’ classes are typically for students 6 years and older.

The beginners’ class teaches foundational stances as well as a variety of basic kicks and arm techniques. Students improve their physical conditioning through obstacle courses, ladder, and target drills.

While in this class, students continue to follow simple instructions and are introduced to basic sparring techniques.

Memorized forms of Poomsae are no longer performed in a stationary position but now require directional movements.
